I didn’t realize that what I thought was an aversion to physical touch when I was in relationships with men was actually a lack of safety and intimacy. Every touch felt like it was a prelude to something I didn’t always necessarily want and not learning how to speak up or protect my boundaries 1/3

My ex-husband calling me inconsiderate, belittling me and calling my decisions “trash” which is “up my alley” then getting confused as to why I’m not accommodating him is…perplexing is perhaps an understatement but seems to fit #divorced.
