New European study maps survival rates for childhood brain tumors

Master Course in Pediatric Oncology Expands to Armenia 🌍

A new wing is being built at the children’s hospital in Lviv, Ukraine, with support from the Dutch government and guidance from the Princess Máxima Center.

A European first: Every child with cancer at the Princess Máxima Center gets full tumor DNA analysis at diagnosis.

Whole genome sequencing is now standard of care, giving doctors a complete picture of the tumor from day one. Meaning better diagnoses and more personalized treatment

Scientists in the Kuiper group mapped out ‘genetic footprints’ of cancer in children with CMMRD, a rare but serious hereditary cancer predisposition syndrome. The findings can help better recognize CMMRD, and will for some children lead to a change in their treatment plan. Read more: bit.ly/3F2p5rR
