Back when I was living with my mom (2020), we would use Animal Crossing for the new year's countdown bc we didn't have tv with cable. It became a sort of tradition since.

Months scheduling a friend’s visit for the holidays, and he randomly cancels on me a week before because I guess his new partner doesn’t want him to visit me ever again, regardless if I have zero interest in him.
