Hey look who came to Sydney to see me volunteering and working. Well at least that’s what I’m telling myself.
It was nice to see some Fall River and Waverley girls and their team taking in the game.
And they’re going home with some prizes to for taking part in intermission contest and dancing

No better way to cap off day one at the 2026 IIHF under 18 women’s world hockey championship then by raising the Canadian flag.
I kinda had goosebumps doing it and I saying oh Canada proudly as I did it.
Let’s do a few more this week, ladies especially next Sunday

As games operations I help the flag bearers pregame, give out prizes at various points, and will get to hang the winning teams flag on the riser as it rises at end of game. Fun time so far.
