Also I actually engaged in small talk with strangers. Normally I’d just be like “yeah” in response and just kill off the convo but no I actually had a conversation with strangers whilst I was in town.

Leaning that Mircosoft is looking to replace all c/c++ for rust, for some unknown reason, likely by just going “hey copilot, can you rewrite the code base in rust please”, has me eyeing up the Penguin OS like a dehydrated person eying up a bottle of sparkling water.

The rules around needing to have your army painted for 40k tournaments is quite interesting. I'm new so I'm not 100% on the rules, but I've been told that there are two rules. Either you must have 3 colour/ battle ready or you get a deduction on the points, making it harder for you to win.

The local table top store had a raffle at their Christmas party and let's just say it's all been decided.

The raid planner in FF14 is giving me flashbacks to the PSO2 image maker thing.

I really do forget how much of a different game pre-roboport factorio and post-roboport factorio are.
Before you unlock the roboport you're micro managing everything.
After, you can take a step back and the game starts to resemble an RTS.

Little nodding donky trains that slowly chug along little single lane branch lines once an hour to little towns in the middle of the country side interest me so much more then big powerful intercity/ high speed trains.
Maybes it’s cause it ticks the train and cottage core boxes for me. :3
