There are a couple, but the primary ones for the Ladies' worldline that I am proud of, posted as pictures to get around post text limits:
The Borlaaq nor the Iriq engage in transmisia. If a child is born to the Iriq and states that she is a a woman when she becomes cognizant of it, they are given to the Borlaaq, and vice versa. Nonbinary children may stay with either or both freely as they choose. The Borlaaq and Iriq do not permanently separate the children they take in from their blood families in the opposite clan. Visitation is allowed and encouraged once the child is old enough. The peoples of Muscadet are most commonly river-fishers and hunters. Some tribes keep ancestral tattoos and sigils, passed down from family to family via tattooing or equipment. It is not mandatory for one to be tattooed, but usually anyone in the family who is tattooed is responsible for ensuring it is passed on somehow. Tattoos are also used as markers of coming of age. Golmorri Viera’s interpretation of the Green Word is *generally* less strict in this worldline—those Viera who leave the wood are usually not permanently exiled from it. This is why Rija is in contact, if infrequent, with her family. Potential queens who do not choose to become queens still retain their "service name" (the already canon letter "a" + queen's name to indicate service to that queen), as do queen potentials who become queens themselves. This is why Helena still carries the service name "Avesna" despite living abroad, as she is still a queen potential. Not every clan abides specifically by the process of changing one's service name to indicate loss of service to a queen, through death or otherwise. Helena's is one of those that does not—prefixes and suffixes on service names in her clan are are used to indicate one's generation within the clan, and the "a" prefix indicates which generation you were born into. Properly speaking, Helena's full name is something akin to "Helena Avesna Mirasch..." and goes on for quite a while longer. Her mother's name is similarly "Vesna Amira Ruzasch..." There is in fact precedent, if obscure, for non-Hrothgar to swear fealty to a queen. Whether they choose to take their queen's name as their surname, as a surname, or simply choose it as a form of honorific instead is usually up to them, but may be dictated by the queen of a specific clan. Clan names that represent the lineage as a whole also exist, usually in the form of a sacred landmark to the clan, their place of origin, or trait of the queen's line, amongst other things. the clan-lineage that Helena herself belongs to is translated from old Bozjan as "black-marks-green-eyes", as every queen that Helena can trace her ancestry to has those two traits even if other aspects of their bodies are different. It can get even more specific than this but rarely does.

The Story of M’akianna of the M Tribe 🖤

Whisper, the last of the Echo’s call, is posed with one hand on their hip and one caressing their own face. The story behind their recruitment is a rather sad one… M’akianna was a kind, loving Miqo’te serving in The First along with The Crystal Exarch’s guard. She was able to work herself up towards Lt. rank, and was stationed to oversee Amh Aerang; helping alongside the Oracle of Light. Though the halt of the Flood of Light faltered, M’akianna gave much of her soul, her life to the cause. Accidentally, she stumbled upon a sin eater, begging for her frame as its host. Within said sin eater, lied but a hint of Echo’s void. Calling out to the Keeper, M’akianna’s frame was over taken. Through outcries and pleas for help, her last words were: “I can see now, I can see, I can see…” Echo decided to bring forth this now nightkin towards the first. Not to serve the cause of the calamity, for that was never Echo’s attention. But perhaps to begin a new life for Nightkin and Voidsent alike. One that is realignment and seeking truth in your void like form. Due to M’akianna’s last words, she continued the odd habit of repeating back the words of her counterpart over and over and over until they halted speaking. Her voice would grow ever quieter as she did. This is how she dawned her name: Whisper.

Helena is a few steps below that, given that she had to keep up with Garlean technology to a degree.

Khorijin and Khoride can handle the basic operation of most tech, but anything relatively complex is a no.

In their own home territories there are no real difficulties, though #Mirita didn't learn her actual birth M clan name until many years afterward. There is a thread that has proper pronunciations and all, but here's a screenshot to summarize.

#Mirita: Correct: ME-rii-tuh. For her birth name M'naira: Meh-NIGH-ruh. Most people tend to say Me-RII-tah/tuh the first time. #Khorijin: Correct: CO-rii-jin. Occasionally she gets Co-RYE-jin, usually from people who don't know Steppe names. #Rija: Correct: Either RII-hah or RII-yah, though the latter is technically more correct. People will say either most of the time. #Khoride: Correct: CO-rii-day. Most people will either accidentally or deliberately focus on the "ride" part of it either for puns or other things. #Ystride: Correct: IST-rid (like Astrid but with an I sound in front). Most people will say Yiss-tryed or something akin to that if they don't know. #Euphemia: Correct: YOU-femme-e-yah (same as the Code Geass character) #Helena: Correct: Hell-AY-nuh. (A simple black background and a white rune/symbol rests upon it) At the young age of 9, N'ami had been carefully working on various symbols to communicate with her fathers to denote her location and safety. If you've delved into N'ami's lore, you'd know that her family specifically was targeted often in clan raids within the Steppe. She'd need to clearly communicate where she had found asylum until she returned home. Her fathers would find these symbols intricately placed within Doma to locate her. This symbol shown has many aspects that relate to N'ami's life in kind. The symbol is a rising sun along the coast of the red sea. The dash in the middle of the sunrise is a lone samurai, or in our case, N'ami. The dot just above the sunrise denotes an angel, N'ami's mother. N'ami decided to keep this symbol throughout her life, using it as the coined symbol of the Clan/Syndicate. Whispers mention that this symbol can STILL be found amongst docks, carved in trees and even stained in charcoal on Kugane side streets. If your character has ever ventured into Kugane or Yanxia, perhaps they may have stumbled upon this symbol. Perhaps they may have tried to understand it's meaning. It's simple: The Hidaka Clan is here. The Hidaka Clan is home.
