This goes for "Tesla damage is done by right-wing grifters" as well. Pause, breathe, and focus on what we know, not what we think.

...or it's that scared people have a lot of built-up emotion with nowhere for it to go, or that people are tired of trying to play fair when the government isn't, or just that a few trans people don't act in sync with the broader spectrum of people because we aren't a hivemind.
