My payroll company is so sweet and sent me a box of chocolates for Xmas. Unfortunately I looked at the ingredients & they’re entirely made of all the nuts I’m allergic to. At least my family can enjoy them.

I’m the only therapist in my office who doesn’t use AI to listen to their sessions & write their clinical notes. Call me an ol fuddy duddy, but I don’t like the amount of water AI wastes, I don’t like abdicating my thinking to a computer, I don’t trust it. I get the ick.

I’m so sick of the guns. My heart is broken for my LDS friends and family. I may no longer be a member of the church, but some of the best people I’ve ever known are Mormon and they deserve to worship in peace without threat of violence.
I’m thinking of everyone in Grand Blanc. This is a heartbreaking tragedy.
Whether it’s a church, a school, or a grocery store—every public space in America should be safe from gun violence.

My 17 yo son said his ELA teacher reminds him of me. I was ??? bc she dresses in a goth aesthetic & is obvs much cooler than me. He said it’s because she’s so nice, supportive, always calm & watches murder shows. Such a wonderful compliment from one of my children 🥹❤️ (maybe not the murder show part)

All this rapture stuff reminds me of the Parks & Rec episode where a doomsday cult called the Reasonabilists (or "Zorpies") believes the world will end at dawn and holds an all-night vigil in the Pawnee park every year. S4E6 if you need a giggle.

17 yo: It’s because I’m tall, Ma. Tallest kid in the class.
Me: So it’s not the brown spots?
(17 yo is about 6’2/6’3ish)
