Finally getting around to reading The Stand. I am 14 chapters in- which means I’ve barely made a dent, & it is phenomenal. Beautiful, haunting, & eerily reminiscent of the beginning of Covid. Figured I’d better read it before the next pandemic starts…

@stephenking.bsky.social Like a lot of Gen Xers I have been reading your books since 6th grade, & I have to say THANK YOU! I have an amazing moral compass that I’m fairly certain came from the fantastic characters & stories you’ve written. I definitely didn’t get it from my parents! 🤣
