My husband brought some Lemon Curd home from the UN Commissary the other day, so of course I had to made scones to go with it. These were fairly easy to make, so I'm sure I'll be adding them to my regular rotation of "bready-things" I've been making. How do you like to eat your scones? Sweet/Savory?

I have lived in Vienna for a year now and I just found out that there is a Farm Truck that parks around the corner from my house, every Wednesday!

They sell meat, wursts, cheese (I think), breads and pastries and other items from their and neighboring farms. I can’t tell you how exciting that is.

The way Mildred sits and looks like she’s just contemplating the world at large, cracks me up. I love this little gal so much.
