Marigold ‘Strawberry Blonde’ still going strong as the kitchen garden starts to fade. Love the way it changes color from emerging bud to full bloom. 🌱

My night-blooming cereus has come inside with the other houseplants now that temps are cooling. 🌱
This came from a cutting of a plant from famed Mississippi writer, Eudora Welty’s garden.
It has grown huge. Hoping it will bloom next year.

Late blooming Allium ‘Lavender Bubbles’ is a striking plant, lovely blue-green foliage, graceful emerging buds, and spherical blooms that are a more intense purple than popular variety, ‘Millennium’ 🌱

I went for a walk this afternoon after the initial shock of the news here in Minneapolis. Kids move dinosaurs around this front garden every day. Innocence lost today especially heartbreaking. We are a city of neighborhoods. We are all together in mourning tonight. 🌱
