Some people get mad at me comparing older Galaxy models to the S26 series as if most users didn’t upgrade from those older devices
Outside the tech community, few users upgrade yearly. Many are waiting ~3 years before upgrading.

I understand that app optimization takes time, especially on XR, but there are things Samsung can still improve on Galaxy XR
• Similar to how they can force apps to use the full screen on foldables, a forced curve display on video apps that don’t have that would be very convenient

That has been the only software update which added the new feature Google announced at their Android XR event. All apps also got updates which I’m doing now
Prime Video got one so fingers crossed for better modes like curved screen
