The reason I don’t trust white men’s translations of astrology texts is because they don’t “know” these languages. They can read them, but how much of Ben Dykes’ day is spent around Arabic speakers? What about Holden?

I like all this. But it also occurs to me that Scorpio is a sign of trauma. Most of the people I know who love to cook are also people who were forced to grow up really early and cooking was part of that and also a way to feel some semblance of control.
thinking about how often Scorpio shows up in the natal charts of chefs or people who love cooking a lot, might have to do with the fact that you have to be okay with many things/textures/animal parts/etc. that would gross a lot of people out. and the Mars rulership of course 🔪🔥

Honestly don’t always pay attention to the Nodes, but I’m glad I read that translation because I do in fact have the tail in the 5th, conjunct my IC.

Exaltations are deeply misunderstood. An exalted planet is not “an honored guest”. al Qabisi is clear, “if it were in its own exaltation, it is like a man in his own kingdom and glory”

We’ll see how it goes, and keep in mind that I’m not a Philly resident, but I do not inherently trust a “Black Panther” group who’s springing to prominence in a time of turmoil, led by a light bright, and whose work within the community isn’t really clear and documented.

California is not going purple or abstaining en masse with their governor in the race. This is the kind of delusion that had people thinking Kamala had a chance.
Californians are NOT going to vote for Gavin Newsom. They're telling you now, with YEARS to go before the election. Fair warning. Please support better candidates, there will be many to choose from.

Moreover, Chris Brennan and that other man were on that podcast finger popping each other’s assholes talking about Palestine “is such a complicated issue” and trying to use astrology to make that point. Y’all were fine with it being political then.
The “question” of whether or not astrology is political is disingenuous. But truthfully, you probably have to believe it’s not so you can steal, appropriate, and bastardize every fucking thing under the guise of “translation” and “learning”.
