On the whole, we have strengthened in the forward area, with Strand Larsen. I just wonder if we will look at Raheem Sterling, available on a free. Unless I have missed him moving somewhere?

My worry, though, has always been the defence, since Guehi has left. We haven't addressed that, but attacking wise we have a wealth of options now.

The ridiculous thing is that Mateta has been carrying that knee injury for ages!!! Surely, anyone with any intelligence within JP's camp would know he'd fail a medical?! Talk about cut your nose off to spite your face. Now, he'll probably be stuck behind JSL.

Sounds like Strand Larsen is happening, regardless of what happens with Mateta. Atm, Mateta's move is in the balance because Nkunku doesn't want to leave AC Milan, if Sky Sports News are to be believed.

We will be more than fine. Hopefully, all being well, we will have two more signings by Monday, Strand Larsen being one, with Mateta going to AC Milan.

May I remind you that Glasner did similar at both Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt. Glasner starts losing it, then attacks the hierarchy. While he's mellowed this week, I take his comments with a pinch of salt.

Is anyone not buying what Glasner is saying? After the last few weeks, and then dropping the bombshell about leaving last Friday, I don't know whether to trust his words on Mateta and the talks with Steve. How can I believe anything he says now?
