If you can, consider dropping the term “circle the wagons”. Been seeing it a lot, and it’s not surprising with rising Anti-Indigenous sentiment.
It refers to the time of “Western expansion” (stealing) in the U.S. when Conestoga wagons would form a circular defense to fend off attacks by Natives.
