investing, economics, coffee, and back-of-the-napkin idealist. This is all just like my opinion, man.
Just backed Truth’s Gun #1 by Momo Comics. It only has 11 backers right now and could probably use a boost! It is their first project and so let’s help them out.

A gritty cyberpunk comic/manga inspired by classics like Akira, Battle Angel Alita and Ghost in the shell.

Just finished His Name is Wrath #1-5 that I supported on Kickstarter by Kristopher Jerome @badbugmedia.bsky.social. It’s a post-apocalyptic human struggle story AND mechs. I’m sold with just mechs involved. The colors are very very dark, but it seems to add to the story and mood.

just finished reading The Agency Case Files by @themarvelousmrc.bsky.social. I backed this one on Kickstarter and this artwork and world he is building really speaks to me. It triggers my love of Bladerunner and the art seems very nostalgic to all the sci-fi novel book covers I have read.

Just finished reading Dead City Lullabies by Aidan Roberts and it’s bleak, the narrative is bleak, the drawings are detailed and bleak, but it’s my kind of bleak

Just finished Sanvean by Brian Thies that I backed on Kickstarter. Really like the art, the cover reminds me of Neon Genesis. I just think he needs an editor when he republishes this as a larger book. Just some misspellings along the way that detract from the story.

Just re-read Nano Jams by @davecook.bsky.social and not only is his story, Frontline, so good, but the @clarkbintart.bsky.social art on the first story is such a nice treat for Killtopia fans. Check out their other work!

Just finished reading the entire Bleach collection by Tite Kubo. It is 74 books and looks something like the attached photo. I read all of them through the library, thanks @nypl.bsky.social. People say epic tale a lot, this is when I would use that. #bleach #manga #titekubo

It is obvious to me that the inventor of “office hoteling” never actually had to do it themselves.

I haven’t even washed these yet and I’m in the middle of reading Nano Jams by @davecook.bsky.social but I love the designs and Dave is working on new projects for Killtopia, the best Kickstarter comic I have ever backed.

Just finished issues 9 and 10 of Tokyo Blade Detectives by @toddblack.bsky.social that I supported on @kickstarter.com. Really enjoying this crime fighting duo and their interactions.

Just finished reading Animal Farm by George Orwell for the first time. Not required reading when I was in school and found a copy of the small format book at a thrift store for $1. Incredible story and I am sure it was very provocative for its time.

Just finished James by @percivaleverett.bsky.social and what a wild adventure. It is Huck Finn told from the pov of Jim, but it is also so much more than that. What a story!

Just finished reading Dawn Runner by @therightram.bsky.social and it’s a great mix of Mecha, psychological thriller, and Kaijus. It gets a little mind bending at times, but that seems to be on purpose. Great art mix of mechs and monsters.

Hi @earncarrot, not earning sats at the moment on articles, but love what you do. Is this a “me” problem or something more sinister?

I tried my best to love this coffee from Brooklyn Lab coffee, but it just tastes burnt. I had to throw sugar in it just to take the edge off. Making this note so I do not buy it again. Using pour over and moka pot methods did not work.
