Then: LIUNA has faced scrutiny & Gov. intervention to address corruption & influence by organized crime.

Now: LIUNA connected to Doug Ford's #GreenbeltGrab. Appears at "Labour Support" rally for Pierre Poilievre.

This all seems on the level, right?

Let's remember that LiUNA has been linked to Doug Ford's plans to develop portions of the #Greenbelt, a protected area of farmland, forests, & wetlands in Southern #Ontario.

To anyone living in #Ontario. Doug Ford is asking for a new mandate. Considering his Greenbelt grab, under funding of education & healthcare, leaving so many of our loved ones to wait, or not receive the support or services they need to thrive.

It's time to give him a mandate to RETIRE!

If you're worried about TikTok's influence on voters, you might want to check out X's greatest hits of election falsehoods. Spoiler: they're playing the same game, just with different playbooks.

I'm not sure you can seriously argue that TikTok, with its Chinese roots, is a bigger foreign influence than... glances over at Russia’s ongoing side hustle on X.

Dear American friends,

Most of your Canadian neighbors are struggling to figure out how you elected Trump. As a result, it's common to hear the belief that, "they needed to make it so, or they would have had a civil war on their hands" uttered in conversation.

What are you thoughts on this?

Musk will fight handing this over tooth and nail—because if he actually hands over the algorithm it will reveal how much he has tampered with it to artificially dampen the reach of progressive accounts, proving he is 100 times worse than those he replaced.

Looking forward to Mark Carney crushing Pierre Poilievre.

The last remaining sellouts in Canada will be from Alberta but the numbers will change there too!

Looking forward to returning to the Canada I knew before Pierre's alt-right nut jobs terrorized the country with disinformation.

Yet to be seen. Likely will never be seen.
Can the Conservatives win elections without relying on disinformation?

David Olive: Say what you want about Justin Trudeau — there’s still no arguing Canadians became wealthier while he was in power
In the Trudeau years, Canada’s economy grew by 41%, to $3.2 trillion. It grew by 18% under Stephen Harper, who governed for roughly the same amount of time.

The biggest problem with Pierre Poilievre's campaign is that, in large, it mimics Trump's message & attracts the same kinds of voters.

How can PP possibly go against Trump when he is, himself, a Trump supporter?

History will look kindly on Trudeau's transformative leadership once the fog of Pierre's deception lifts. Trudeau's work has strengthened Canada—investing in ppl, equility, & a fairer economy. Stepping aside is a selfless move to protect the future of Canadians against Pierre's dangerous agenda.

Listened to an injured police officer describe defending the Capitol on Jan 6. He said, "I lost mobility & strength in my arm protecting the rule of law. To this day, Trump refuses to acknowledge our sacrifice, while promising to pardon those who attacked us."

How sad, unethical, & wrong!!

It’s astonishing to live in a time where a politician like Pierre Poilievre can behave as he does, spreading disinformation, harmful rhetoric, & outright lies without facing widespread condemnation or accountability.

Where is the critical journalism Canada used to rely on?
Pierre Poilievre says Canadians are too obsessed with race because of “wokeism” and agrees with Jordan Peterson that Canada essentially had to invent and import racism because it didn’t exist here before recent decades.

Canada is so fucked if this guy forms government.

I've migrated here from Twitter as a digital 'nomad.' One thing stands out: misinformation isn't just a tech issue; it's deeply tied to governance.

#Canadians -A journalist’s job isn’t to please their audience- it’s to challenge them with facts.

Have we made the truth too unprofitable?

Serious question.

Why is there no law against politicians lying to the public they serve?

Seems like a reasonable ask by the public of any nation.

Journalism’s core mission is to inform, not to entertain. When did we start confusing headlines for clickbait and truth for algorithms? When will we demand more from our journalists, again?
