He didn't have any clothes to wash today, but came to the laundromat anyway because he just wanted to see HER. The cute girl he's been chatting up for the past few days. Today was going to be the day he was going to ask her out, but fate had other plans. A sudden wave of dizziness hit him and he passed out. He got woken up, by the loudest booms he'd ever heard. A black wall slammed almost in front of him, leaving him disoriented. "Tsk... he's not here today..." The loud words caught his attention as he looked up and up and up... and he saw HER, the biggest thing he'd ever seen in his life. He had been shrunk with no idea of how it happened, but now she was going to by his salvation... Or his doom... "Oops!" Those were the words he heard before his vision was blotted by something that covered him completely. "This is so embarrassing. Thankfully, he's not here to see me drop my panties on the floor..." A peculiar aroma covered him before a crushing pressure squeezed him. Not only that, but he also felt himself being lifted and up into the sky. Then gravity dropped, and he fell into a soft cotton like floor. The last thing he saw was HER looking straight at him. "Hey! I'm here! Get me out of here!" She just took a deep sigh and slammed the door to the washer, leaving him trapped. Then the walls poured out the aromatic water...

Noah looked up at the two giant women talking literally over his head and couldn’t keep quiet. “Hey, ditsy, maybe you should listen to her?! I’m pretty sure she knows this stuff better than you. Hell, I don’t think you know about anything at all. News flash! If I’m not alive, you can’t use me for your whackadoo plans! Ever thought about that!? Huh?” Not surprisingly, he didn’t get a response. The thick walls muffled his voice, and even if they hadn’t, the two women were too busy with their own argument. He couldn’t do anything but watch as these literal giants were deciding his fate. He had a feeling that the ‘charming’ blonde wouldn’t back down, which he didn’t find surprising, given she must have been under Sinclair’s direct command. “Just get out of my way,” he heard the command through his glass prison. “If you’d let me explain–” the scientist tried again, but didn’t get the chance. “If you don’t get out of my way in 10 seconds, you won’t have to worry about getting in here tomorrow,” Mercy gave her a final warning, then slowly started for the door.

“What was that?” Mercy asked, annoyed. “I just said that you should be more careful,” the scientist advised. “It’s true the subject has increased durability, but that doesn’t mean–” “I’m sorry, Ma’am, I wasn’t talking to you,” Mercy cut her off. “It’s just that boffin who was whining about possible threats of the next phase.” The scientist ignored Mercy’s insult and tried to steer the conversation back to its previous course. “Yes, I still believe that, regardless of the promising results of the first tests, we shouldn’t act recklessly. Rushing the experiment could have catastroph–” “Are you for real?!” Mercy interrupted her again. Why is it so hard to see I’m talking to someone? I’ve been sent here to take the little dipshit to the other wing, and that’s exactly what I’m about to do.”

“Uhm, Miss?” the scientist addressed Mercy. “You should be more careful. Sudden movements like this could lead to injuries to the subject.” “Well, that’s one way to put it,” Noah added as he checked himself. He saw no signs of bruises or injury, and didn’t feel anything strained either. His eyes landed on the giant pen that was now lying on the ground. It looked like a tree trunk, and he assumed it probably weighed just as much, if not more. “I don’t think I’m ever gonna get used to this,” he muttered to himself. Then his attention shifted elsewhere as he noticed that the conversation between the two towering figures continued.

Noah thought he had time to get out of the pen’s way. But the universe, just like a few times before, threw a curveball at him. As the blonde woman started to turn on her heel, the ground not only shook again, but the centrifugal force made him stumble. But it wasn’t the worst thing, as it gave a new direction to the pen as well. One that was much closer to him than before. Noah had to act fast. He heard a few times from the scientists that the shrinking process made his body more durable, but it wasn’t the time when he wanted to test out how right they were. Even if he survived just like they stated, he had a feeling he wasn’t immune to injuries. And he also had a feeling treating him wouldn’t be high on their priority list. “What the hell?!” he heard a shout just as he dodged the falling pen at the last second.

Mercy’s attention was more on the phone call than the unfortunate man in the plastic box. “According to the team, they are ready for the next step,” she spoke into the phone. As she casually lifted the container off the desk, her movement shook it in its entirety, causing a little havoc within. Noah tried to keep his balance while the ground trembled beneath his feet with the intensity of a minor earthquake. He couldn’t imagine what this woman had in store for him, but he already hated it. At least the scientist approached his holding cell with caution, whether it was about relocating it or getting him out of it for tests and examinations. This woman didn’t care about his well-being at all. And it raised a whole new set of alarms in his head. He was about to give him a piece of his mind… or at least flip her off when movement caught his eyes. He almost forgot about the pen that was dropped in his see-through prison not so long ago. But thanks to the shaking, it ‘came to life’, demanding his immediate attention.
