Wow, thanks, Bluesky, I love having a button on an increasing number of profiles that just takes me to a webpage that says "Sorry!"

Just finished the first draft for my longest blog post in a while. It still needs refinement, and I think it'll need to go on the back burner for a little while while I work on and release other posts, but it's shaping up to be a good one!

Hey @samuel.fm, just opened the Bluesky Android app on the Jan. 22 update for the first time, and it thinks I need to complete Age Assurance even though I'm in Illinois, US, where it isn't required.
As soon as I give the app my location, it resolves itself, but as soon as I disable location...

Just a quick heads-up in case you haven't seen it on my website already, this is my final blog post of the year! I look forward to picking things back up in January, but I'm off for the rest of December.
My birthday is a special day with one particular tradition. Every year for as long as I can remember, I've always gone out to dinner with my parents on the evening of my birthday to celebrate in a magical annual outing that has transcended time.
