The art gallery at Bear Steps has Darwin Related art work together with The Young Darwin exhibition in the meeting room. Children can colour in HMS Beagle and take it home find it upstairs in the meeting room.

Fish Street in Shrewsbury, dates back to medieval times, named for the fishmongers who sold their fish part of Kings Market around St. Alkmund's Church from the 1200s. The Charter of Henry III (1256) granted market rights to Shrewsbury, outlining the establishment and regulation of local markets.

Rowleys house is such an important building, it was built by Roger Rowley. He was a wool merchant. The house was built in the late 1500s. The brick Mansion was built by his son in 1618. It is believed to be the earliest brick building in Shrewsbury.
