Kindred spirits aren’t as scarce as i used to think. it’s splendid to find out there are so many of them in the world!
Lucas, talking during the premiere of No Address—what a total gem! Caring, compassionate, and kind. And let’s not forget, he’s handsome as they come, right? He could totally pull off the perfect adult Gilbert. Time to restart the #renewannewithane campaign, I think! 😉

Marilla not only sends Anne away but also refuses to let her keep her new dress, forcing her to leave in her worn outfit. The cruelty of the moment feels almost unbearable. Matthew’s pain is evident—he stands nearby, heartbroken—while Marilla remains distant, emotionally closed off.

I’ve always dreamed of Gilbert surprising Anne at one of Aunt Jo’s soirées, so I couldn’t resist bringing that magical moment to life.

This moment highlights the father-daughter bond they share, with Matthew acting as both a guide and a safe harbour for Anne in her journey to navigate the complexities of life in Avonlea. It’s a beautiful testament to Matthew’s wisdom and the unconditional love he has for Anne.

Such an iconic scene! The music perfectly mirrors Anne's turmoil and heartbreak, followed seamlessly by the serene sounds of the cliffside. The gentle crash of waves and the seagulls' soothing calls create a moment of calm, helping Anne find her way back to herself.

When you watch Anne with an E on Netflix, be sure to give it a positive rating.

If enough people do that, maybe Netflix will take it out of cancellation. 🥹🧡

Here's a video I made in tribute to Anne's love of nature.

It doesn't begin to capture the full magic of Anne with an E, but it does highlight one of my favorite aspects of the show.

If you haven't watched Anne with an E, it's on Netflix.

Enjoy! 🧡

This scene highlights both Anne’s vulnerability and fiery spirit. Despite the cruel remarks, Anne refuses to stay silent, showing her strong sense of self. It sets the stage for a most memorable apology, proving that even harsh beginnings can lead to genuine understanding.

First I love all the little touches about what life was like in rural Canada in the late 19th century. It was really tough. You could guess from the journals (I especially remember how Maud was always so cold in the long winters), but Rubio adds a lot of details. Women were such hard workers too.
