You'll be even more shocked to hear she remains unqualified for this job, that requires a masters in education, that Bob Jones U. fast tracked so she could "complete" it in six months. She's directly responsible for making our schools and education system even worse.

South Carolina Superintendent Ellen Weaver got her book banning regulation passed, and now my kids' school district won't let students borrow ebooks via a public library partnership beyond the "Juvenile" collection. "YA" and "Adult" books are off limits even for high schoolers.
Dear CCSD Families, We are committed to providing a safe and enriching learning environment for your child, including access to high-quality eBooks and audiobooks through Sora. To align with regulation SC 43-170, we have recently made updates to the way students access content from Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) through Sora. Previously, high school students could access a broad range of content, including Juvenile, Young Adult (YA), and Adult titles. However, to ensure compliance with state guidelines, all PreK-12 students will now have access to only CCPL’s Juvenile eBook and audiobook collection when using Sora. Here’s what your child can expect: Extensive Digital Resources: Students still have access to over 15,000 eBooks and audiobooks in CCSD’s curated Sora collection, tailored to their grade levels and designed to encourage literacy and a love of reading. Age-Appropriate Content: By focusing on Juvenile content from CCPL, we’re ensuring that all materials accessed through Sora are aligned with SC 43-170. Public Library Access: Through the Limitless Learning (L Squared) partnership, your child retains full access to all CCPL branches and their extensive resources, using their CCSD username as their library card.
