I have to wonder about something. All these years we were told how important is the 2nd amendment to protect citizens from tyranny. Somehow I am not hearing from the militias now that tyranny is taking over the USA. Somehow they are the biggest supporters of the tyrannical president.
There was an episode of The Twilight Zone, I think, in which a Nazi was sent back in time to become a concentration camp prisoner. Too bad we cannot send Trump, Miller, and the puppy killer gnome to CECOT for the rest of their natural life.

I deactivated my Facebook account and will later completely delete my account if Meta will not restore the ICE alert pages. The only way to hurt them is through their pocket. Let Meta get their blood money from Pam Bondi.

The removal of ICE alert apps and Facebook pages should make it clear we cannot rely on for-profit corporations to protect our freedom of speech. We need to look at open source solutions like Mastodon which is world wide and cannot be controlled by a fascist government.

The Democrats need someone more energetic, less of a gray bureaucrat than @schumer.senate.gov to lead the fight against the autocracy of Trump. Otherwise the Democrats will lose the midterms because no one wants to vote for a party that in unwilling to fight for the country.

Nexstar and Sinclair are going for (separate) mergers and need FCC approval. They both announced they will not air "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". Having over 20% of ABC local affiliates gives them censorship power over what people can watch and hear. This should be illegal. Break them up!

If we follow the @tiffnet.bsky.social logic about the rejecting the screening of "The Road Between Us", no documentary about WWII can be shown because no release forms were obtained from the Nazis to use their war footage. If their lawyers came up with this nonsense then they should be fired.

If the Delta Airlines co-pilot is found guilty then the feds should throw the book at him but I'm questioning the need to storm the plane with guns and risk the lives of passengers. Why not arrest him when he disembarks? Did they need the show for their mistress?
