The story behind this album is mad. Dude was so zonked out on blow and lost in the occult that he doesn’t remember making arguably his best album.
My theory is that cocaine became a thing in the 80s because Bowie quitting in the late 70s opened up the supply for America’s rich assholes.

So about 20 years ago I was at a record store checking out and I see sitting sleeveless on a stack of random behind the counter records this lone disc of Daydream Nation. Guy had no use for a sleeveless half of a double album so he just gave it me.
Who knows maybe the other half shows up some day
