I have a client who's first floor smoke detector always "malfunctions" in the early hours on a Sunday. It can be several months in between incidents and there isn't any noticeable reason it would have issues.

We have replaced the device two times already and new batteries.

Trying to use some Matter over Thread motion sensors from Eve but can’t get them working through home assistant. I can add them to HomeKit though.

Should I troubleshoot further or stick to Zigbee? 🤷‍♂️

Amazon is now using their boxes to directly market Alexa+. They have used packing tape to advertise in the past, but I don't recall ever seeing full scale ad boxes before.

Anyone have a 4th of July project going on? Mine is finally installing some shade in the backyard. We have no trees or structure of any kind in our backyard, so i've buried four 6"x6"x14' posts in the ground and i'll be attaching a 16'x24' sun shade sail tomorrow once the concrete dries completely
