Several people asked me about exporting the new API map tiles to "fix the wiki"
Like I said before I've stopped working on these so we'll just have to wait.

It looks like that after 8 years they finally fixed the #GuildWars2 API tiles. This means I will no longer be publishing these in the future unless things go wrong again.
It was a really fun project to work on but also took a lot of time and effort to maintain.

- I have a homestead template with a tiny little house in it
- I have another template with just 3 pillars
- With just a few lines of code it makes copies of the house at the pillars creating a cozy little neighborhood!

I don't think the disguise spell Ludo puts on players at the start of VoE's story so you can infiltrate an Asuran lab is really going to work for my character...

I've managed to rebuild after sinking my previous homestead but I had to go smaller... I now have a #GuildWars2 homestead for ants and you can too!

I'm working on some modules that will make it easier for developers to create online homestead tools. After some math I can now move and rotate entire builds to anywhere I want!

Unlike the previous homestead you don't need to unlock the masteries to increase your building space in the new one

I'm not going to list every new armor and weapon set but basically they've converted all (non-gemstore) staffs to spears

Conclusion: the upgraded skimmer is extremely fast! Just shaved off several seconds in two adventures without breaking a sweat

Lesson learned: this achievement is going to take a lot longer than I expected because these treasure chests can trigger diminishing returns meaning they will no longer spawn if you open too many of them a day

Crunching a lot of numbers on the XML format and I'm starting to get to know its quirks and limitations. For example objects can only be rotated with increments of roughly 1.4 degrees, scaling is done with increments of 4.4% and the position is limited to single digit units.

This is what happens when you load the new homestead into the old homestead with an altered XML file. Other than some floating trees it actually looks pretty good!

What kind of nonsense is this? For some reason buying writs with renown tokens now also requires map currency defeating the entire purpose of them
These tokens were a great way in JW to complete hearts by "just doing stuff" but now they're basically trash items clogging up my inventory

Where SotO made it possible to have pockets of water on land, #GuildWars2 VoE introduced new technology to have pockets of air underneath the water level!
For example this smaller cave is be located at 2,600 units below the surface. And there are even larger caves that are located far deeper.
