Earlier this week I finished a 300k+ fic that just… ended. Not abandoned, just abruptly got wrapped up with about a dozen plot lines left unresolved. And now I feel like I need to find a fic with a deeply satisfying ending to read to compensate because I’m so unsettled by how the other ended.

Ladies, if you are so self centered that you’re going to complain about amazing women being added to an event and use words like “unnecessary” or “a waste”, that is an instant block from me. Not gonna waste a minute on anyone looking to tear other women down and deny them an opportunity to shine.

Got home to find one of the bulbs was out in the done light over my couch. Dropped the lightbulb I was trying to change (the new one of course) and it shattered into a million pieces on the floor. How’s your night going?

Not to oversell it, but I think I achieved my best ever J2 op today. Both picture-wise and op experience-wise. At the con I wasn’t even gonna go to. It’s like the universe said “bet.”

Woke up this morning briefly convinced it was October 31 - likely because I’d had a dream that it was. Imagine the disappointment when I realized the humidity is still 80% and gross 😣

The period at the end of summer when the temps are in the 60s but the humidity is still 80%+are the worst king of tease. Hurray, it’s cool… but oh wait, it’s still grossly sticky 🥵

Whenever I tell people not to buy M&Gs with the boys if you aren’t okay with sitting and not getting to ask a question, I sure do mean it. I have done four duos in a row this year without getting picked. Which is both fine and also an emotional roller coaster not to be undertaken lightly.

9 years ago at NYCC I had my first in person encounter with anyone from SPN w/ @rthompson1138.bsky.social who was kind enough to listen to a nervous fangirl gush about Baby. Today at SDCC I came full circle 50+ cons later and got to gush about The Winchesters. Such a gem! PS Baby is still my fav 💜

I had a dream last night about a (fictional) autograph signing with Jared at SDCC for a jewelry brand with some truly bizarre dream details. But my brain has clearly internalized my thing about no one at cons knowing my name because he asked it and then wrote it down as Sherri as a joke.

Apparently I did not need to worry about making my connection on my slightly delayed flight - it’s on the same plane! 😂
