How'd you spend your Valentine's Day? I spent mine evicting my ovaries and fallopian tubes from my body to preventatively eliminate my risk of ovarian cancer (which took my mum's life). I'm a bit sore but doing surprisingly well considering that I had surgery to remove organs yesterday.

I've started on a crochet temperature blanket for 2025 & have finished the first 2 squares - following pattern from Janie Crow www.janiecrow.com/blog/categor...
It is great example of why crochet works better for me than knitting since I get to "finish" individual pieces regularly for dopamine.

I'd shoved this bag (labelled with my late brother's name) back to the bottom of the box of fabric Xmas bags last year because I couldn't deal with it. It was less of a devastating surprise this year but I think it needs to return to the box. I still can't bring myself to peel off that label.
