Feeling low about art. I feel the need to improve but “just draw” isn’t cutting it. But I feel that simply practising fundamentals isn’t going to entertain me and instead turn art into a slog. What is the route to take?

Friend of mine told me I need to be a little more loose and have fun drawing rather than trying to just aim for perfection all the time, I think I will take that to heart from now on

If I want to get better at art I have to draw
To draw I need to first pick up that thing to draw with
Unfortunately motivation comes and goes so it’s down to discipline.
Even if I fail, if I draw today that’s more than I did yesterday.
