To software devs, please enable debugging on your apps to help your networking team help solve your problem. PCAPs from the upstream device shows a lot of info, but we miss visibility from the client side.

When adding “smart” appliances to your home network, change default passwords and connect them to a different SSID on a separate vlan on your network. If possible, have a zone based firewall to further segment your IoT traffic.
