Idk, I’m biased… I think building aesthetically pleasing, distributed power generation & battery storage systems that circumvent the antiquated & ineffective utility monopolies on power distribution is kinda disruptive.

Idk, I’m biased… I think building aesthetically pleasing, distributed power generation & battery storage systems that circumvent the antiquated & ineffective utility monopolies on power distribution is kinda disruptive.

A week later but the chaos & uncertainty continue.
Had the local bank call yesterday and inform me that they are out. They can no longer proceed with a $1.6M loan they’d approved.
I don’t want to, but at some point I have to call it quits & accept I’ve failed.

Can’t sleep. Hard to see a pen stroke undermine that which you’ve spent the last few years and your life savings trying to build… Honestly lost on how to proceed

I truly believe leading the renewable energy discussion as a local economic development opportunity for growth and jobs is a more effective way to gain support than arguing about environmental impacts. We need a message that resonates with opposition viewpoints. #EnergySky should help frame it

Most states don’t have formal #community #solar programs. That makes it difficult for small biz & individuals to support the #energy #transition. I’m building a platform in my spare time that allows crowd sourcing off-take to help projects go from idea to reality. Any #energysky folks want to demo?

The lack of development capital for #energy projects is just crazy.
Real estate has hard money, why isn’t that more accessible for the energy space? Higher risk equates to higher interest rates.
Just seems like a massive gap in the market

Update: it’s actually a pretty compelling scenario, assuming distance hauled is <30 miles & batter efficiency is >90%
Screw the interconnection and distribution lines: just charge, drop at site, plug in, flip the transfer switch
