so smart I forgot that RAID 5 uses one of the hard drives so I only had like 27TB total which would be 100% pointless so I just said fuck it and bought 4 16TB drives

T minus 18 hours until my data back and forth BS is done and my RAID 5 DAS set up is good to go
I should've went with 12TB or 16TB drives tho cuz I forgot that one drive won't be useable in RAID 5
