It’s #PortfolioDay already? Well, first off, my real name is Niklas, and I am a cartoonist who specializes in characters. I also do some 3D work on the side as well. Currently, I am working under my brand name “Marshmallow House”.

An annotated sketch of Kaneko 「金子」the Cuckoo Bird. She is the landlady of Tango the Wooden Fox, acting as a secondary character in the Hoshi the Dragon universe. She is to have yellow sclera with soulless black voids for pupils, with visible bags underneath. She is the only character whose color scheme is accurate to the animal she represents, being a female common cuckoo. This is complete with a yellow beak with a black tip, brown and tan feathers, beige feet, and a dark tail. She wears a grey turtleneck shirt and is holding a mug filled with coffee. She wears a disgruntled yet weary look on her face, as if she’s had enough with her client’s (Tango’s) shenanigans.

So, LEGO Pokémon. These look really cool but HOLY SHIT they are essentially radioactive to my wallet price-wise. There is that Heroica-scaled Pokémon Center though, which looks neat as well. (Totally not a post to see if there are other Heroica fans on Bluesky other than myself.)
