It will save you time and mental energy if you understand that a lot of white people don’t believe anything is racism unless the person doing it is wearing a shirt that says, “I am doing this for a racism.” Plausible deniability is a social survival tool for them in a way it has never been for us.

It’s sad to know that people holding the most impactful positions in the world are held to a lower standard than the majority of us.

Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.
