Police were present, of course, for everyone’s safety, and from the interactions I witnessed, they were pleasant. All-in-all, it was a successful exercise of our First Amendment rights. THIS is what democracy looks like.

I’m feeling more positive for this country’s future after attending a peaceful rally in Oconomowoc WI today in the reddest county in our state. There were many more participants than I had expected and we received much positive response from people in vehicles who drove past.

A final observation, stooping down to a level Trump can understand and which, I am certain, he is also quite aware: the most attractive, MOST PRESIDENTIAL, most charismatic, most masculine, the hottest man in that room yesterday was, without a doubt, President Zelensky.

American diplomacy and proper protocol was cast aside as the Felon of the US and his lackey JDVvp berated and attempted to belittle a feet-on-the-ground defender/patriot/president of a country aggressively attacked and invaded the past 3 years.

I have never been more embarrassed, mortified for my country as when I saw the press coverage of the “meeting” between the Trump/Vance Republican entourage and President Zelensky of Ukraine. It appears to be “performative TV” at its worst with a disgusting script written by the Putin playbook.
