I went to Kroger today to see if I could score any marked down produce or meat. I did get 2 pkgs of chicken and a small salmon fillet. Nothing else really. But wtaf... it's insane what food costs. $20 for 2.5 lbs of ground chuck!!

I usually post dinner pics, but this time it's brunch! 1 sliced potato, half an onion with diced celery thrown in & fried to perfection. I steamed eggs on top & topped with shredded cheese. It turned out good! It needs tweaking, the eggs are over done. Hubs=👍 #terripinchespennies #brunchideas

Hoosier citizens, you can not eliminate a revenue stream as large as property taxes and not have a replacement income source. Of course, there can be budget waste identified. But cutting school funding isn't the answer. #hoosiergirlwithabrain
