I still have Flagg as the #1 guy on my board because of his versatility, the scoring flashes (albeit he still has work to do), playmaking, and dominant defense. But Dylan Harper is making a VERY strong case. It’s those two at the top and I think the conversation starts with who’s 3rd in this class.

Very bizarre box score night in the NBA last night

Derik Queen just understands the game of basketball in a way that makes me confident he’s gonna be successful in the pros. Maybe I’m wrong, and if I am, so be it. But his skill and feel are legit imo.

Few things make me feel older than feeling like it’s ok to call a one and done age draft prospect a ‘kid’ because they weren’t even in high school yet when I graduated from high school, and knowing the following class was still in middle school when I was freshman in college.

Jayden Quaintance is far from a finished product, but a kid who’s not even old enough to be eligible for the 2025 draft averaging 4.4 stocks (3.4bpg/1spg) in under 30mpg at the high major level is truly insane.

Cody Williams G-League stint is what’s best for both sides rn. For Cody I hope he can make the most of the reps and be ready once he eventually gets called back up.

What I’m most encouraged by with Stephon Castle is the confidence and willingness to step outside his comfort zone. There will be ups and downs but confidence during game speed reps is the vital for any type of potential development.

I don’t think +/- is a stat you can use on its own. But I do think it’s a very good indicator of a player’s impact when they play enough minutes and are an outlier (positive or negative) compared to the rest of the team in that game.

Could never live in an anime world. I’d be so sick if all my years of hard work got destroyed by some 15 year old that fights with a stop sign and the power of friendship.

The upside of Alex Sarr is kinda insane. His movement skills are rare for his size. He covers so much ground defensively. And while he’s been up and down on offense the handle and passing flashes are real. He’s still got a long ways to go but his upside is why I’d bet on him being top of this class.

I will always have a soft spot in my heart for bully ball forwards and electric small guards.

Wing prospect discourse if people remembered/knew how good Rashard Lewis was
November 25, 2024 at 2:04 PM
I feel like the answer with Ace Bailey is somewhere in the middle ground between both sides of the extreme when it comes opinions on him. Which is starting to become a common trend with these tall scoring wing prospects.

His handle and skill at 6’10” 245lbs is ridiculous. Like idk how good of an NBA player he’s gonna be but it’s so hard for me to not see him finding some level of success at the next level.
