Gun violence is a public health crisis.
Firearm injuries ⬆️62% in King County (2019–2023). In 2024, we saw a 20%⬇️ – proof that prevention works.
But recent shootings, especially impacting young people, remind us: we must do more, and do it now – in partnership with Seattle and local communities.

Packed house at Garfield High School for MLK Day – youth voices, music, and a community ready to act. From the gym to the streets, we marched for immigrant rights, workers’ rights, peace, and democracy in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
