A review this time on the Tale of a work focused on Incubi with a somewhat odd way of storytelling. It's not so much a story as it is someone expressing themselves in a single-sided conversation that really gives not a moment to reflect and respond before the next thought is cast away to be heard. In a way, the work presses a viewpoint, and an image, into the pages and tries to shape the narrative with a tone that, at least for me, feels too demanding and fixed.

A review this time on the Tale of another work by the author Carey Walker, who really seems to have a thing for Succubi, even if the stories are far to short and leave a lot to be desired most of the time. I think as a whole what interests me about their stories are the myths with are turned on their heads, a succubus is mixed in, and where that takes things.

We return to the expected selection of really poor costumes here on the Tale and this week's choice is so very much trashy by far.. This is the Deviant Devil Costume and it comes with the crop top row attached hood, a matching skirt with garters, the wings, and, of course the awful horns and pitchfork. It sells for $133 US, but does appear at times for as little as $30 US.

A review this time on the Tale of a work which has a character who as the aspects of a Succubus but really isn’t that much of one. The hints are all there, her form, tone of voice and attitude fits, but there is a problem. She’s never given a name, doesn’t have really much in the way of overt aspects to her character, other than the obvious ones told in the course of the story.

It has been bitterly cold this past week, which in itself would be something to base a story upon. Something else, however, came to remind me of . . . Lost Thoughts By TeraS There are times when the Queen of the Realm is found to be reflecting upon herself. Then there is an element of her being lost in thought, recalling the past, wondering about it.

There's something about a character being a bit snarky that I find amusing. It makes the story fun, the characters a bit more complicated, and offers possibilities to explore. At the same time, there's also a point if every character is just snarky that things becomes a bit muted and that's a problem. So what needs to happen in that case is each character to have a voice, a clear one, that makes each of them stand out just a little bit.

A review of the seventh work in the Reborn as the First Boss series by Stuart Grosse today on the Tale and overall the story still has its moments, but the lack of any real Succubus theming, which the main character has, continues to bother me. A reference here or there is one thing, but otherwise there’s really no meaning to her being one and that feels like an aspect of the story that just is getting forgotten.

Succubi with glasses are especially fun and for this Succubi Image of the Week, a cute Succubus with glasses, a wonderful expression, and so very much a tease too... Her almost there outfit is just right for her body shape and with that hairstyle just blends so well together into a teasing look that I think is adorable... Tera

It bothers me to a level that really only my Eternal has seen, a d he says my ranting at a costume store is something he's threatened to film and post because it's something to behold, how often a good costume idea gets wrecked by something as simple as a pair of really ugly horns. This is the Devil Fishnet Lingerie Costume and it comes with the really poor looking horns and the actually quite nice dress.

A review this time on the Tale of a work that is somewhere between metaphysical and mythological in the storytelling and the characters themselves. What makes this story something to wonder about is that there is a Succubus character, but the question becomes one of is she really or something close without really begin seen as such? There are many different sorts of course, from good to evil and everything in-between.

If there is something of a constant, at least for me, it is the moments when I wonder about those I think of as family. A review of another work by the author Carey Walker this time on the Tale, and it's one that left me a bit disappointed. I do not like stereotypically evil or aloof Succubi or Incubi, I find that boring and it just makes me start to skim pages which is never a good thing. There's something about such a character where they have the personality of a dead fish and revel in that which does nothing for me.

By the time this post appears on the Tale, I am very sure that the Morrigan Aensland figurine being shown has been well and truly sold out. A review this time on the Tale of a work that’s somewhere between temptation and despair in many ways. There’s a particular mood that carries throughout and with that comes a falling of will and purpose that’s then transformed into something other and that was interesting. When it comes to art of Morrigan Aensland, the focus tends to be either her cleavage... or her posterior. As the latter has not been appearing on the Tale as the Succubi Image of the Week for a time, it would seem to be time to correct that oversight... Far too often there appears a costume idea that, if just left along and not accessorized to hell and back, isn't that bad. But they just can't leave well enough alone can they? This is the Red Devil Long Sleeve Metallic Two Piece Costume with Horns and it comes with the quite lovely dress and the terrible fuzzy horns that I detest to no end.

I have reviewed a number of works by the author Carey Walker here on the Tale, and those works run hot or cold for me much of the time. There are some interesting concepts and ideas to be found, but there's something odd about how the stories are told, the focus the stories take and, sometimes, I wonder if there was a succubus to be found or if that was just a fond idea.

A review of the ninth work in the Father Thomas O'Neill Adventures series by K.R.M. Morgan this time on the Tale and it's one that promises a Succubus to appear, and she does, but is not really part of the story or that much of a Succubus really. It's one thing to have a Succubus be evil, and that's expected in many a story.

There are a number of very short stories which involve Succubi of late, most of these works being so short that they become something more of a book summary at times. There is an interesting idea, but it doesn’t have a chance to be much more than a passing thought before the story comes to a close and that’s a shame.

I do find myself rather enamoured with Succubi that have a sense of style. Being sexy and seductive is, of course, so very important but then there's that little something more that also needs to appear.
