It's a shame we're going to have such a short time in ASC in paper - Ladder has been so much fun. I usually don't play much more than getting to Arceus each month but I'm enjoying the format so much that I'm still playing games.

I don't like the "extend time in rounds" argument that's being made specifically from the "It's more time playing Pokémon" angle.
Birmingham has a Tie rate of 16%, so for 84% of players that's more time inherently not playing Pokémon.
