Today we are releasing QC Lab – a Python package for quantum–classical dynamics simulations. And what would a software release be without a hype video??

Links to the package and documentation in thread below!

Optically Addressing Circularly Polarized Vibrations in Molecules
Circularly polarized (CP) vibrations are the nuclear-motion analog of CP light, emerging in molecules with non-Abelian point-group symmetry that support orthogonal and degenerate vibrational normal mo...

Thanks @isabelle-dume.bsky.social for this insightful account of our recent study on the chiroptical response of a chiral crystal!
Scientists have discovered a centrosymmetric crystal that behaves as though it is chiral. This counterintuitive finding could help in the development of new technologies that control light. 🧪⚛️ physicsworld.com/a/symmetric-...

Our paper has been selected as the cover of Journal of Chemical Physics!🎉

We showed that self-consistent mixed quantum-classical (MQC) dynamics can reproduce persistent yet anharmonic Rabi oscillations, providing a new perspective for MQC approach for quantum systems.

Differential absorption of circularly polarized light by a centrosymmetric crystal
Crystalline solids are governed by universal structure-property relationships derived from their crystal symmetry, leading to paradigmatic rules on what properties they can and cannot exhibit. A long-...
