"I told you it wasn't happening today," the one holding the bag spoke in a not-so-quiet whisper. "The parking lot is practically empty." "No, look," the other man spoke, nodding towards Blade… who offered a smile and a little wave. The man with the bag locked eyes with Blade, blinking a few times before he turned back to the other man. "There's no one else here," he whispered. "Hey," the man holding the babies said to Blade, stepping further into the room, presumably ignoring his partner. "Are you reading stories?"
