Brief clearing in the virtually constant cloud cover here in Edinburgh. Seeing not great, but I got 7 x 90s videos of Jupiter. Best 50% frames stacked in AstroSurface, derotated in WinJupos, then sharpened in AstroSurface. #CFF 160 🔭, #TeleVue 2.5x Powermate, #ZWO ASI585MC. #astrophotography

KAS member Jim Kurtz recently captured this image of the globular cluster Omega Centauri from his observatory at Arizona Sky Village. He used a TeleVue 127is telescope and a ZWO ASI071MC camera mounted on an Astro-Physics Mach1GTO mount. The image is a stack of 25 subframes, each lasting 3 minutes.
