Incredible CME, maybe superstorm on the Sun’s far side today—measuring over 3000 km/s, it will truly go down as one of the fastest CMEs ever measured. Had this been directed toward Earth, it probably would have arrived in just 14-16 hours. Most CMEs usually take around 3 days to get to Earth.

This will be living on my jean jacket soon. I’m also bringing back the word “scram.”
