Comic book author/artist. Creator of Courtney Crumrin and much more. Dapper disaster. Trying to be kind and decent. He/him.
I'm currently taking more commissions. Here's my latest. This ink piece with multiple beasties was $400. DM me if you want something like this.

Still kicking around with Terry Pratchett's Wyrd Sisters in my spare time. Would love to do a graphic novel about them.

Toying with the idea of a San Francisco-themed sticker set. But I'm planning other backgrounds as well.

My friend Dan Brereton took the American pulp style, and made it his own weird, unique thing. He's the most talented writer/artist I have the privilege to call friend. He's currently running a Kickstarter for a new art book to show off the visual half of his amazing talents.

Princess Ugg. I'm thinking of this for a sticker. But I think it may need a background.

Here's the color version of my D&D character commission.

Working on a commission for a client's D&D character, something need to do more of. It's so much fun. Here's the inks. Will add color later today.

More sticker ideas. I'm not sure if the Courtney is too slumped. I just loved her attitude. What do you all think?

I'm thinking of doing sets of stickers. It's a matter of finding the perfect image that sums up the story, or tells a story in a single image. Working on it.

Witch For Hire. One day, I'd love to take a crack at volume 2.

Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone. To call her captivating doesn't even touch the layers of emotional complexity, piling heartbreaking ferocity on top of aching fragility. It's truly a tour-de-force performance, that I could never hope to capture with ink and watercolor, but you gotta try.

I remember years ago, the magnificent Charles Vess once mentioned in an interview that he preferred drawing trees to people. At the time, I didn't understand, but now I can't get enough of those lovely, twisty, spooky but beautiful living shapes. This one is definitely made for color.

It's kind of a joke cover, with my little tween goth curmudgeon framed in a classic hero pose like a Frank Frazetta character. But I love that kind of thing, so as with everything I do, no matter how silly, I definitely mean it sincerely. And the colors came out pretty nice.

Every time I put paint to paper, I get anxious that I'm going to ruin a perfectly good ink drawing. But I feel this one came together. What do you think?
This 12"x16" piece is $400, if you're interested in buying it. Contact me in the DMs.

I've never been 100% happy with my covers, especially when they have multiple elements. So this one is practice. It's definitely gonna get the watercolor treatment.

Courtney was originally a black and white book. I'll add color to this soon, but I still like it like this.

The Dreadful Duchess is another character that appeared out of nowhere, first in the background of the first Courtney Crumrin book, and eventually as a major character.

This 12"x16" painting didn't quite come out the way I wanted, but it's still quite nice. I'm asking $250. DM me for details.

Did anyone else notice Phoebe Waller-Bridge rocking Courtney Crumrin's style in Fleabag? No? Just me?

10"x13" ink and watercolor. $200, if you're interested.

Butterworm the goblin. I screwed up the measurements around the border, but he's still pretty cute. This 10"X13" ink and watercolor is $100. DM me if interested.

Here's an oldie but goodie. Happy V-day, and may love find you, no matter what weird and wonderful form it takes.

Once I knew I wanted to create a goth tween icon, I knew I had to give her a contrasting foil. And the idea of an Alastair Crowley-like mystical mentor seemed more unexpected than, say, a witchy aunt.

I'm selling this 8"x12" ink and watercolor for $150. Please DM me here if you're interested.

Another Nosferatu, kind of a warm-up for the first one. But It definitely has its merits. This one is $250, if anyone is interested. DM me.
