today i sat with some of my high schoolers in the cafeteria during their lunch, and some boy comes over and points to me saying “why is this girl sitting here?” and the kids i was sitting with were like “ummm…Miss Katie isn’t a student, she works here” 😭😭😭 31 and still looking like a teenager

i got to watch the halftime show with my friend Lysh, who is Puerto Rican, and seeing how excited and proud she was made me emotional!! she was singing every song and jumping up and down screaming “that’s us! that’s us!” because of all the PR representation😭🤍
