Decided to introduce some 2D playing levels into KICK-BELL!

I thought this would be a fun stage gimmick since it's already based on "one screen enemy clear" games, and it would add more stage variety.

(This stage is still a heavy W.I.P)

Things are looking a bit different than I remember!
I feel like I can get around a lot nicer than I could before!!

Also looks like there's a new enemy here! 😨

One of the criticisms with KICK-BELL's demo was that the stages were too large and zoomed out.

Here's a quick look at some of the updated stage design!

You can complete them a lot quicker, and you have more player visibility now that they're smaller ^^

I just found an old version of Team Slay-Bells's intro cutscene!

This was never finished, and it's been completely re-worked later on, so I thought I would share it since it's not going to look like this or play out this way anymore.

I want to note, that despite TEAM SLAY-BELLS pretty much starting from the ground up again asset wise, I do plan to find a way to archive the original demo build's levels as some sort of unlockable extra feature, as I plan to have a lot of dev stuff unlockable in the game's library.

Now to put my money where my mouth is 😄

I've saved a bunch of SAGE games to play! First up is KICK-BELL, a cute arcade-y title. I got stuck on this level, unfortunately. Visually very impressive and solid level design. Aiming is hard because everything's so zoomed out. But overall pretty fun!
