Trump’s superpower is the ability to normalize atrocities.

Really?!? It’s unconfirmed. And NOW Trump thinks it’s bad to lie on loan applications?? www.nytimes.com/live/2025/08...

Is it me or does Trump always sound like the 4th grader who didn’t read the book?

In honor of Jaws' 50th anniversary, I read the book that the movie was based on yesterday. Turns out the book was mostly about how the police chief's wife was having an affair (?) and also the mafia (???)

Anyway by the end I was rooting for the shark

Trump is selling America piece by piece to the highest bidders - domestic and foreign - and pocketing the money.

Anybody else wake up in the morning and have a conversation with your spouse along the lines of “please don’t get deported today”?

It’s pretty clear which universities rejected Trump’s college application: Harvard, Columbia, Princeton, Cornell and Brown.
April 16, 2025 at 4:34 PM
I’m guessing Columbia also rejected Trump college application years before. www.nytimes.com/2025/03/21/n...
Decades Ago, Columbia Refused to Pay Trump $400 Million. Note That Number.
A quarter century ago, the university was looking to expand. It considered, and rejected, property owned by Donald Trump. He did not forget it.

Clearly, Trump learned business from watching Bart Simpson: "It was like that when I got here”

It’s true: No American President has ever surrendered to the enemy. Until Trump.

Listening to Trump is like flashing back to that kid on the playground in 4th grade who said his father can beat up your father. Except that Trump never grew beyond that while everyone else did.

With all the incompetence of DOGE maybe we should call it the Department of Government Inefficiency or DOGI (feel free to use the hard G)

Does anyone else feel that the Elon 5-things email has the old “Nigerian Prince” email scam flavor to it?

DOGE = Department of Gaslighting and Exaggeration

Turns out there is no greater unelected bureaucrat than Elon Musk.

What’s the over/under on Trump trying to rename the Kennedy Center the Trump Center?
February 22, 2025 at 4:16 PM
We don’t elect public official so that they’ll have a job and can run for office again. We elect them to serve their constituencies.
February 22, 2025 at 3:26 PM
Everything Trump and Elon are doing has the makings of a heist movie - where the US Government is being robbed and we're all the hapless victims.
February 21, 2025 at 7:46 PM
Definition of a bureaucrat: an official of a bureaucracy; an official who works by fixed routine without exercising intelligent judgment.

Huh. That sounds like the MAGA senators and representatives.
February 21, 2025 at 5:04 PM
Elon is by far the biggest government handout beneficiary. Taxpayer money is his entitlement. We pay him. A lot. (When he looks at spending to help people stay healthy, he sees waste and fraud. When he wants to go Mars, he thinks the government should give him our money.)
February 18, 2025 at 12:29 PM
Don’t be fooled. What Trump & Elon/DOGE are NOT doing is rooting out fraud and waste. That’s the cover story. What they are really doing is removing all restrictions on corporations and rich people so that they can rule the rest of the population. If there’s no one to enforce the rules, they win.

It’s amazing to see all the GOP senators sitting upright without spines. Kinda defies the laws of physics.

But the message is clear: “We value being senators more than serving our country.”
February 12, 2025 at 11:28 PM
It's important to understand that Trump can personally win [bigly] when American citizens lose. Same with Musk.
February 10, 2025 at 3:35 PM
The word "musk" is believed to be derived from the Sanskrit work muska meaning scrotum.

I think Trump just hates the 14th Amendment. Not only does it establish birthright citizenship but it also makes the whole insurrection and rebellion thing illegal.
