On 29 Nov 2025, Jinqi Ying, PhD candidate supervised by Prof. Nathan Hill, presented her paper “Distinguishing ‘熊’ and ‘能’” at the international academic conference “Chinese Classical Studies: Methods and Practice in the Study of Old Chinese Phonology through Paleography,” held at Fudan University.
