Brewers drop Nick Mears for Tobias Myers. Makes some sense but still seems odd to keep Gasser, seems odd to actively choose to have anyone that is basically there to soak up innings in a loss

I had to go mention the time someone left a review for @mketailgatenetwork.bsky.social that was just part of the script from the Bee Movie where @badgernoonan.bsky.social had to read it (after the regular episode) on the @chasingmacnaughton.com and now one of us has to read the start of Shrek...😂

@kedseconomist.com I have a question for your podcast. When we talk about quintiles for income in the US, are they using gross income, adjusted gross income, or some other income number? I've tried to find this and never have seemed to be able to figure it out.

Are you planning to go see @mtuhky.bsky.social in Minneapolis to kick off the season? Minnesota is running a special offer for Saturday's game, $16.98 a ticket: gophersports.evenue.net/promotions/e... Get this deal while it lasts (We believe it expires on Labor Day but not 100% sure)

@badgernoonan.bsky.social great podcast today...is there any way to quantify the value of the pressure the brewers create on teams with their speed and base running? It certainly seems like because they're on base more it hurts pitchers mentally more, especially bullpen arms.

I really want to know how many ballparks that Christina Yelich double in the 8th would have been a home run because it was a bout 3 feet right or one foot short of being a home run at Target Field…I thought @woulditdong.bsky.social was working here but apparently not anymore?

Huskies Continue to Bolster Blue Line
After adding former Lindenwood defenseman Joe Prouty, new head coach Bill Muckalt has made yet another addition from his old program, securing a commitment from Prouty’s defensive partner, Jack Anderson.  Anderson possesses the kind of physical tools that coaches, scouts, and GMs dream of having in their lineups. Standing at 6’6” and being a plus skater, Anderson has a rare blend of length and mobility that allows him to eat up ice in transition and cover ground seamlessly.

The Huskies have secured their first commitment of the Bill Muckalt era. Former Lindenwood goaltender Owen Bartoszkiewicz, a Michigan native, has entered the transfer portal and according to his Instagram profile he will be following his coach to Michigan Tech. Now, given the state of Michigan Tech’s goaltending room it may come as a surprise that Muckalt’s first piece of business is to secure yet another goaltender.

Michigan Tech Parts Ways With Joe Shawhan, Hires Bill Muckalt
The Michigan Tech athletic department pulled off something of a miracle Thursday morning: they made a drastic personnel announcement without a single member of our notoriously nosy staff hearing a peep about it. After eight seasons at the helm of Huskies hockey, Michigan Tech has parted ways with head coach Joe Shawhan. He leaves Michigan Tech as the institution's second-winningest coach of all time (154-120-29), behind only the immortal John MacInnes (555–295–39).
